All our furniture and accessories are made to order and the lead/production time for each item is shown on the relevant product page. Deliveries are subject to additional shipping time dependent on the delivery method selected and the destination.

Delivery Options

  • White Glove Furniture Delivery Service to room of choice, full assembly (if required) and removal of packaging.
  • Small Parcel Delivery for all small, non-breakable items (like decorative boxes and wall clocks).
  • You may receive separate deliveries if for instance your order contains furniture and accessories, or items that are part available and part unavailable.

White Glove Furniture Delivery Service

If you are ordering large or heavy items of furniture, we will do all the hard work for you.

All items are unpacked and checked prior to delivery. When your item(s) becomes available to arrange delivery, you will receive a phone call with an option of delivery days.

We will contact you again prior to delivery with a 2 hour delivery window. In addition to this, where possible and when correct contact details are given, the delivery crew will normally call one hour in advance of their expected arrival time in order to allow you to take delivery in person. The delivery team endeavour to arrive within the stated times, although we have no control over traffic hold-ups or unexpected events. If they are delayed they will call to let you know.

We offer a premium delivery service:

  • Our specialist team of two (or more if required) experts will hand deliver your pieces to the room of your choice upstairs or down (access permitting).
  • Very little assembly is required as apart from beds or dining tables nearly all of our furniture is delivered ready assembled. All assembly will be done by our specialists on site.
  • All the packaging and boxes will be removed and recycled, leaving you to simply enjoy your new purchases.

If your property has parking restrictions, it’s very important that you let us know in advance so we can plan. If a parking permit is required, you must arrange and provide this for our drivers. Any problems with parking availability which result in a failed delivery will be chargeable to the customer.

We are extremely grateful if you can help us by making sure that driveways are clear for when our van arrives and removing any fixtures and fittings that may cause obstruction whilst carrying out your delivery.


Please ensure that items purchased fit into your home, through your front door, and through all internal doors, staircases and turns to their destination room. Points to look out for include twisty passages, low doorways and dog-leg stairs. If you are in any doubt please contact us and we will try to help you. Should our delivery team feel that there is a danger to your property and equally to them in delivering large items upstairs, they will refuse to do so. Please be aware that if we can’t deliver to your requested room we will leave the furniture at a place convenient to you. Such criteria do not form a reason for return of goods. We hope you understand.

To comply with health and safety regulations our drivers cannot remove, reposition or dispose of other items of furniture for you. They can only deliver through main doorways and entrances and not through windows or rooftops. They also cannot remove their shoes.

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide non-slippery protection to their floors (both for carpets and wooden flooring), from the front door to the final placement of the item. We cannot carry enough sheeting to provide protection for all our deliveries. Please ensure you have placed adequate covering to protect your flooring/carpets, as Woodright Furniture Ltd cannot be held responsible for damage to flooring/carpets/stairs if they are insufficiently protected.

Please remove any personal objects en-route to the desired delivery point that are breakable (ornaments, wall pictures/mirrors, trailing wires etc.) before the delivery team arrives.

If our drivers arrive at your address at the agreed time of delivery and cannot contact you for the duration of 30 minutes, the delivery will be unsuccessful and a £50 charge may be levied.
It is your responsibility to measure the access route for your item(s). If the size of the goods cannot be delivered into your home due to lack of measuring, the delivery will be unsuccessful and a £50 charge may be levied.

If the room is not ready for installation and needs to be cleared, Woodright Furniture Ltd reserves the right at their discretion to make an additional charge dependent on time taken to clear.

All items must be signed for at the point of delivery. In signing the delivery note, you are acknowledging that the item(s) delivered are in good condition and in no way faulty or damaged.

We will do our best to ensure your furniture arrives safely and on time.

Small Parcel Delivery

Some accessories and small items are delivered by parcel couriers, such as Parcelforce and UKMail.

Breakable items (like mirrors) will be delivered only by our furniture delivery team.

Upon dispatch, we will notify you via email indicating the estimated day of delivery and tracking number.

Delivery of all items is free to all mainland UK addresses.

Woodright Furniture Ltd delivers to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. Sorry, but we are currently unable to ship to customers outside mainland UK: Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, and all over the world.
